    We had a fantastic time at the conference center! The location was perfect for our event and saved us on transportation costs. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of having a bath and shower in the room. We enjoyed relaxing outside after a long day of work. The staff were very accommodating and quickly addressed any issues that arose, like when the air conditioner in our room wasn't working, they promptly brought us a fan. I would definitely recommend this hotel for conferences and events.

    I would definitely never stay at the Midrand Conference Centre again. I cannot believe it is a four start hotel - there was nothing 4 start about it. The service was way below par, the room very small and uncomfortable, the bar fridge empty, one tea bag, no where to eat, bar area closed and were not prepared to open it for us. At breakfast there are only tables of 10 available (2 of us) and staff weren't happy to cook eggs any other way (scrambled egg was all that was on offer) - lady did try to fry an egg but didn't manage!!! The final straw was when we left the room, we put both keys on the dressing table - at reception we were asked for the keys, told the lady they were in the room and she told us we had to go and fetch them - Service was generally very very poor!!! Looking at the visitor book we noticed several negative comments - can't help but wonder what the manangement are doing about them if anything?

    I am sorry to say but we had a traumatic experience at the location.When we arrived at 3 in the afternoon our room was not ready yet. No towels no toiletpaper. We asked for double bed long in advance ; was not done yet. No hangers in the wardrobe .The room is really not worth r1300 per night. We couldnot sleep properly since the living room / fireplace had guest till early in the morning talking and visiting for everyone to hear. Then the phone started ringing early in the morning.Unnecessary to say we left the following morning while we were still booked for another night. We'd really appreciate our money back; even for the one night we did not spend there.

    We had a great city trip experience! One highlight was the complimentary breakfast that was absolutely delicious. the free Wi-Fi was also a plus, as it allowed us to keep in touch with friends and family back home. the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city and all the different attractions.

    The restaurant menu was a bit confusing, and the prices didn't always match up. We also encountered some issues with our room, like a faulty shower head and a loose drain outlet.

    We attended a business conference in the area and this hotel proved to be a convenient base for accessing the venue on a daily basis. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the rooms were well-lit and well-ventilated, with comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms. the staff were friendly and approachable, which was a plus for us.

    There appeared to be no security cameras on the property, which could be a cause for concern given the current safety issues in the area.

    Lovely breakfast. Good location. Friendly staff.

    Room was very small. A lot of functions all the time and it is noisy. Sunday morning they had a church gathering on the premises and it was very loud. Not good for relaxing.

    It served my purpose,

    the tiled floors and layout of rooms meant noise generated by other guests was most disturbing. it seemed to amplify the noise. also, glass doors meant light from passage kept the room light all night. rooms were airless and smelled stuffy. lighting in bathroom and rooms inadequate for applying makeup. Directions to hotel from airport were not helpful.

    I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the cleanliness of both the rooms and the common areas. Additionally, the location was perfect as it was within walking distance to the convention center where my conference was held. The breakfast offered a variety of options and was delicious, not to mention the friendly service from the staff.

    No negatives from this hotel. Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations.
